    Carolyn Nordheimer James

    Carolyn Nordheimer James is the Chief Executive Officer of the Whitchurch-Stouffville Public Library. Carolyn has worked in public libraries in Montreal, Brampton, Niagara, and Whitchurch-Stouffville. Carolyn is passionate about libraries and their ability to change the lives of individuals and communities.

    Charlotte is a passionate and driven individual who sees opportunity to make change, share knowlege and look for innovative ways to deal with some of the challenges that face people and organizations our health care system. She is inspired by other's stories and accomplishments.

    Doug McIntyre

    Doug is a Chartered Accountant whose passion is working with fast growth high tech companies introducing unique technology to world international markets. With more than 40 years of business management and financial experience, he served as Chief Financial Officer during 2 different Initial Public offerings. Now retired, he continues to mentor an innovative start-up based at the Ryerson Digital Media Zone and is active in numerous Stouffville Charitable activities.

    Geetha Aranha

    Geetha is a mother of three and a high school Guidance Counsellor with a focus on mental wellness. She relishes opportunities to connect with teenagers and listen to their voices. Geetha believes the small treasures in life can make a big difference to personal satisfaction. As such, she always makes time for gardening, breathing deeply, and dancing with her family in the kitchen.

    Grant Ivens

    Grant is a creative type, inspired by change and fun new ways to approach opportunities, he is a designer, an educator, a musician and an entrepreneur. Along with his wife Jo Zadorsky, they operate two Stouffville based companies, Say What! Communications, a creative marketing agency and Costa Nada, a creative dye house, Canada's top brand in tie dye clothing.

    Lori is employed at Health For All as an Administrative Team Member. She joined the TEDxStouffville committee because she really didn't know much about these talks, and was quite impressed. She was especially moved by Neil Pasricha's talk, "The 3 A's of Awesome".

    Sarah is a family physician who is practicing medicine and raising her family in the Stouffville community.

    Jane Philpott

    The Honourable Jane Philpott, P.C., M.P.

    Member of Parliament for Markham – Stouffville

    Jane was one of the original founders of TEDxStouffville. She has curated 3 past events and was the MC in both 2013 and 2014. Her background is in family medicine and she is an advocate for global health equity and an engaged citizen who wants to help build a more fair society.
